We manufacture industrial electric vehicles. George Kettel purchased Karrior Electric Vehicles in 1989. Mr. Kettel is a Navy veteran. He is a member of the NTMA and has been a SAG/AFTRA member since 1977. As a native of Detroit, Michigan he grew up with an interest in the automotive industry. George worked on prototypes for GM and helped create the vehicles that we see on the road today. His education continues in the solar industry and also with fuel cell technology and nanotechnology.

Karrior Industrial Electric Vehicles, Trans Lectric, is proud to be one of the few remaining American vehicle manufacturers. "We make our electric vehicles in Los Angeles, California USA. I am proud to say that for over twenty-nine years Karrior Electric Vehicles, TransLectric, have been manufactured in the United States. I look forward to our 30th anniversary," says owner George Kettel. Started in 1974 in Lake Forest, California it continues the tradition of making tough, powerful custom built electric vehicles.
